DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Ever wanted to go down a road but had to turn back because
your equipment let you down? Us too, which is why we put our heads together
and designed the KY.1 . This high performance one-man inflatable Kayak
is probably the hottest thing to roll off our production line. Thanks
to ARK'S revolutionary V-shaped inflatable floor, it turns on a dime and
cuts effortlessly through the water. The fully adjustable thigh-brace
system allows the paddler to be at one with the boat and water and puts
the KY.1 into the class of a hard shell kayak. If you do find yourself
in a tricky situation, exit from the thigh-brace is quickly accomplished
in a single leg- straightening action. The KY.1 is easily stashed into
most backpacks, folding into an almost unbelievable 9.5-kg bundle! Despite
this amazing attribute, it remains more than capable of extended expedition
tripping.
